JVC is a Nakheel community managed by Dubai Holding Community Management, but alongside its 700-plus villas it has a large number of mid-rise apartment buildings, each run by its own management company that approves the move. Moving a studio costs about AED 800–1,200, a 1-bedroom AED 1,200–1,800 and a 2-bedroom AED 1,800–3,000 at typical Dubai rates.

Apartment buildings and villas inside the circle
DHCM describes JVC as 560 hectares with more than 700 villas laid out in a circular pattern. Around them, developers have filled the districts with apartment buildings such as Bloom Towers, Binghatti Stars and Belgravia. Streets are narrow, speed bumps are frequent and parking in front of a building is tight, so tell the mover your district number, street and building name.

Permits: your building first, then DHCM
For a flat, the building's management company issues the move-in or move-out approval, usually against your Ejari or tenancy contract and ID; the building approval guide lists the documents. Small moves and quick turnarounds

Who gives the move-in permit for a JVC apartment?
The building's own management company. JVC's master community is managed by Dubai Holding Community Management, but apartment moves are approved building by building, so ask your building which documents and notice it needs.
How much do movers and packers in JVC charge for a 1-bedroom?
Usually AED 1,200–1,800 for the move, plus AED 500–800 if you want the flat packed for you.
Can I move within JVC at short notice?
Only if both buildings approve the move and give you a lift slot in time. Ask the two building managements first; once you have the slots, a short-notice quote is easier to arrange.
