Heritage lanes and newer towers
Around Al Fahidi and the souks, lanes are narrow or pedestrian-only, so a truck may have to stop a block away and the crew carries everything to the door. Meena Bazaar streets are busy all day. In Mankhool and Al Raffa the buildings are newer, with service lifts and basement parking, and the move looks like any other building move.
Tell the mover which of the two you have. A short carry from a side street and a stairwell changes the crew size more than the number of rooms does; packing services also help when boxes have to travel far by hand.
Paperwork on the way in or out

Getting across the Creek with a truck
The RTA's truck rules from 1 October 2026 include a round-the-clock ban on all crossings. A move between Bur Dubai and Deira, or toward Sharjah, has to be planned around that; ask the mover which vehicle it uses and its route before you fix the time.

Can a moving truck reach buildings near Al Fahidi or Meena Bazaar?
Not always to the door. Lanes around Al Fahidi are narrow or pedestrian, so the truck may stop nearby and the crew carries the rest. Mention it when you ask for quotes.
